Carreer:
Andy Kuntz, born and raised in Kaiserslautern, is the lead singer of “Vanden Plas”, which is considered Germany’s “flagship” in progressive rock, with its 14 worldwide, on the rock label “Frontiers Records”, released albums.

as both singer and composer, he performed in projects like:

Numerous theater engagements in Augsburg, Dortmund, Innsbruck, Kaiserslautern, Leipzig, Munich, Saarbrücken, Trier and Wiesbaden emphasizes, that he not only feels at home on the rock stages of the world. His portrayals of e.g. Ché (“Evita”), Riff Raff (“Rocky Horror Show”), Nostradamus (“Nostradamus”), Audrey 2 (“The Little Shop of Horrors”), Anatoli (“Chess”), Friedrich V. (“Winter King”), Jesus, Judas (“Jesus Christ Superstar”), Berger (“Hair”), Jake Blues (” Blues Brothers”), Edmont Dantes (“Christ 0”), Andrej Delany in Wolfgang Hohlbein´s (“Blutnacht”), Death (“Everyman”), Arc Angel (“Last Paradise Lost”) and St. Jimmy in Green Day´s (“American Idiot”).
The Rock Opera “Abydos”premiered his career as a theatre author.
To date, he and his Vanden Plas colleagues have composed 6 rock operas ( Abydos, Christ 0, Ludus Danielis, Chronicles of the Immortals, Everyman and Last Paradise Lost), in which he also performed the leading role in several theatres over Germany and Austria.
